Wolfratshausen
The company headquarters and at the same time one of four production locations is Wolfratshausen near Munich. Here is also the central research and development department located.
The Wolfratshausen site developes and produces:
- Chemical-technical products and services for the automotive sector: for maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
- High-performance and specialty lubricants for diverse industrial applications from heavy industry to the food sector and the plastics industry
- Product ranges for private brand marketing in the fields of technology, drugstore retail and multi-level commerce
- OEM aerosols and active agents for cosmetics, personal care and health care technology
The production site is certified according to ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 14001 (environment) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety management).

Lichtenau
At the Lichtenau site, we offer:
- Trained and qualified process team
- Aerosol products in six filling machines
- 2-chamber aerosols
The diverse processing, filling and propellant procedures are subject to constant optimization. The ultimate goal: products which are well-engineered, manufactured in a cost-optimized manner with innovative packaging and 100% in line with market conditions for the highest standards in many facets.
The factory is certified in accordance with ISO 9001 (quality management) and ISO 45001 (occupational health and safety management).
At the Lichtenau site, we produce
- Chemical-technical aerosols for own and private brands
We produce aerosol cans up to 300 mm in height, in standard and special sizes.
TUNAP processes propellants including propane-butane mixtures, dimethyl ether, nitrogen, CO2 and air.
The Lichtenau site has existed under different forms of ownership and with different production profiles since 1902. Originally founded as a manufacturer of household cleaning products and waxes, the site has been dedicated to a wide range of aerosol production since 1965. Since 1997, Oberlichtenau has been part of the TUNAP GROUP.

Märstetten
Factory III of the TUNAP GROUP is located in Märstetten in the canton of Thurgau in Eastern Switzerland.
The approximately 30 employees primarily produce aerosols and liquids for the international market, especially brake cleaner, rust remover and lubricant products.
The plant is equipped with several filling plants, which generate an annual output of up to 30 million cans. They are on the cutting edge of technology in terms of performance and safety. The plants operate in shifts and produce 50 to 60 aerosol cans per minute. The propellants propane, butane and CO2 are processed, which supply the propellant fillers from an exemplary tank system.
In 2000, TUNAP AG put its aerosol production facility in Märstetten into operation. In 2003, the canister filling system followed.
The Swiss site has proven to be ideal as it is close to the border and located centrally between Milan, Stuttgart and Munich. The plant has been upgraded repeatedly in recent years, for example with new shipping bays or through the commissioning of additional raw material tanks. The safety measures have also been intensified and improved for the long term.
